This is a suggested planning sequence, not a bookable package. Adjust it to your flight times, activity availability and the pace of your group.

Day 1: Arrive and Settle In

Arrange your airport transfer and check in. Use the afternoon to get your bearings and confirm the next day's transport. If you arrive early enough, consider an optional sunset cruise on the Zambezi, but avoid booking a fixed activity straight after a flight that could be delayed.

Day 2: Visit the Falls and Choose One Addition

Make the waterfall visit the day's priority. The Zimbabwe-side viewpoints are in Victoria Falls National Park; check current entry fees with ZimParks or your guide. After lunch, choose one more experience that suits your interests and energy (see things to do), or head back to your accommodation for a quieter afternoon. Confirm operating conditions before booking anything that depends on the river.

Day 3: Keep Departure Realistic

If you have a late flight, ask your provider about a short morning activity. Confirm check-out, luggage storage and airport pickup before you leave the property. If you have a full extra day, consider a safari excursion, and put any cross-border trip on a day with room for delays.

When to Add Another Night

An extra night lets you separate the Falls visit, a major excursion and your departure. It also gives families more rest and adds flexibility if conditions affect an activity.

Where to Stay for a Short Trip

On a three-day visit, staying in or near town keeps transfer time down. See where to stay, or answer five quick questions to find accommodation for your itinerary.
